How to Download TikTok Videos on Mac

  1. Copy the link

    On tiktok.com, open the video and click Copy link next to the address. You can also press Cmd + L, then Cmd + C.

  2. Paste it here

    Click the box above, press Cmd + V, then press Return or click Download.

  3. Pick a quality

    Click the MP4 size you want. If Safari asks whether to allow downloads from this site, click Allow.

  4. Open the file

    In Finder, press Option + Cmd + L to open Downloads. The video is at the top.

Tips

  • To keep the video in Photos, drag the MP4 into the Photos app.
  • To change where Safari saves files, open Safari, Settings, General, then File download location.
  • The MP4 you get here has no TikTok watermark or username overlay.
